If you haven't heard the news of the 2023 Chevy Blazer EV, it's all pretty exciting. At Daniels Long Chevrolet, we give you all the latest specs of the new Blazer EV, so you know what to expect.
Price and Trim Levels
We know about four Chevy Blazer EV trim levels.
- 1LT |$44,995
- 2LT | $47,595
- RS | $51,995
- SS | $65,995
Release Date
The Chevy Blazer EV will arrive sometime later in 2023, and we expect it to be a 2024 model when it hits the showroom at Daniels Long Chevrolet.
Exterior & Colors
There's a limited amount of information about the Chevy Blazer EV exterior. For now, we expect it to be similar to the gas-powered Blazer.
Interior Design & Seating
Like the gas-powered model, the Chevy Blazer EV has two rows of seats, and you can fit five people in the electric Blazer.
Infotainment & Features
The Chevy Blazer EV comes standard with a 17.7" infotainment display and an 11" driver gauge. It also includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Cargo Capacity
It’s expected that the new Blazer EV should have a similar cargo hold as the gas models. That means we may see 31 cubic feet in the rear and 64 cubic feet with the seats down.
Drivetrain & Suspension
The Chevy Blazer EV 1LT comes with front-wheel drive, while the 2LT offers front- or all-wheel drive. The RS model also has optional all-wheel drive, while the SS includes it as standard.
Battery & Range
We have yet to get all the Chevy Blazer EV horsepower ratings, but we know the SS has a 557-horsepower configuration. The RS is expected to have the highest electric driving range of up to 320 miles.
Performance & MPG
We have to wait for more information on the Chevy Blazer EV EPA ratings, since they haven't been released yet.
Towing Capacity
Once the Chevy Blazer EV engine specs are released, we will know more about its towing ability. So far, this electric SUV will handle a decent load.
Safety Features
The Chevy Blazer EV comes with a lot of standard safety features. It includes automated emergency braking, lane keep assist, pedestrian detection, a rearview camera, and lane departure warning.
Ratings & Reviews
While there aren’t any safety ratings yet, auto publications are screaming in excitement about the Chevy Blazer EV. Car and Driver says, “The SS seems tailormade to take on the likes of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and the Tesla Model Y Performance.”
