Release Date

These three EV models are slotted for the 2024 model year. They will start to roll into Daniels Long Chevrolet later this year or early next year. 

Exterior

The dimensions of the Silverado EV, Blazer EV, and Equinox EV haven't been released yet. However, all of these models closely resemble their gas-powered counterparts, so you can expect a similar style.

Interior Design & Seating

Whether you choose the Chevy Silverado EV, Blazer EV, or Equinox EV, there will be room to hold five people among the two rows of seats. All three cabins are spacious and comfortable for your travels.

Infotainment & Features

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV comes with a standard 11" touch screen and 8" digital gauge cluster display. We also expect a Wi-Fi hotspot, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While the Blazer EV and Equinox EV offer similar features, the measurements of the displays differ slightly. For example, the Blazer EV comes with a 17.7" touch screen and 11" digital gauge cluster, while the Equinox EV has an 11" touch screen. 

Cargo Capacity

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV comes with a 5-foot, 11-inch bed. It can haul up to 1,300 pounds of cargo. In the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, the cargo area is similar to the gas-powered model, so we expect nearly 31 and 64 cubic feet in the back and behind the second row. The only thing we know about the cargo space in the Equinox EV right now is that it will be slightly less than the gas-powered model.

Towing Capacity

When first released, the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV will tow up to 10,000 pounds. However, later models will be capable of towing up to 20,000 pounds. The Blazer EV may be capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds, while the Equinox EV has a maximum tow rating of 1,500 pounds.

Drivetrain & Suspension

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV has a standard all-wheel-drive configuration. With the Chevy Blazer EV and Equinox EV, you can choose front- or all-wheel drive. 

Battery & Range

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV has two electric motors to create 510 combined horsepower. This offers a maximum of 450 miles of driving range on a single charge. The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV may have multiple options, but the SS trim includes a 557-horsepower powertrain. The RS should have the longest drive range of up to 320 miles. Finally, the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV has a single motor that's good for 210 horsepower, or the all-wheel-drive configuration rated at 290 horsepower. Its longest driving range is rated at 320 miles.

Performance & Safety Features

The 2024 Chevy EV models all have a lot of standard safety features, such as pedestrian detection and automated emergency braking. You should also be able to add lane keep assist, lane departure warning, semi-autonomous driving mode, and adaptive cruise control.

Ratings & Reviews

These models haven't hit the road, so you won't find safety ratings yet. However, Car and Driver says this about the Silverado EV, "The Silverado EV inches Chevy closer to an EV pickup with consumer-friendly pricing." Car and Driver further talk about the Blazer EV, saying, "Take solace in the SS trim, which offers 557 horsepower and is said to be capable of hitting 60 mph in less than four seconds." Car and Driver goes on to add, "The Equinox EV's exterior styling blends futuristic touches with more traditional crossover design cues, and it looks pretty cool."
